Our Scenic Campers are nothing like an RV park or a roadside pullover. Each is set on its own scenic pad on the mountain, tucked into the landscape with a direct view of the ridgeline. You won't be crammed into a grid with twenty other campers — you'll feel like you're the only ones on the mountain.

The Scenic Campers are our budget-friendly, more rugged option. You get all the magic of sleeping on a working Virginia farm at a fraction of the cabin price. Are the campers pet-friendly?
Unfortunately, no. CJ has her own dogs who roam the farm, so we can't welcome outside pets during your stay. If you normally travel with a dog, we recommend a pet-sitter for your visit — we're happy to suggest local options.
When are the campers closed for winter?
We close the campers during freezing Virginia mountain winter months for plumbing safety. Typically this is late November through early March. Check the booking calendar for exact reopening dates each year.
